Introducing Jon Warren
Jon recently had a release party for his debut CD, One Step From the
Edge. Jon and his band (Greg Valdez, Gary Gabaldon, and John
Fernandez) recently opened up for Van Halen at the Journal Pavilion in
Albuquerque on October 2.
Jon was born in the United States in New Mexico, where he has returned to
make his home.
Jon's passion for original music started at the age of 12 years old, when he
picked up a guitar and quickly discovered that he had a natural talent for
playing and writing original music.
Even at an early age, Jon's reluctance to play cover songs has led to the
evolution of an original alternative and pop rock sound that has earned the
attention of the music industry, his peers, and listeners. Jon's blend of hard
driving rock and alternative melodies have led to a career of original song
writing music that has birthed hundreds of songs.
Jon's hard work and diligence have paid off, resulting in his latest work in
the form of his debut CD, One Step From The Edge.
Jon presently makes his home in New Mexico, recording his debut CD at
Eagle Rock Studios and On-Fire Productions in Albuquerque and has just
completed filming his debut video (for release in the fall of 2006) with
director Walter Marin.
Jon is now working on his second CD Straight Ahead that is scheduled
for release in January of 2007.
